WHY EDUCATION MATTERS
If we want to create lasting change in communities, education is one of the strongest places to begin. Education empowers children with knowledge, skills and confidence to build a secure future while helping them grow into responsible, aware and contributing members of society. The Right to Education (RTE) framework has strengthened children’s access to free and compulsory elementary education in India, yet many children continue to face barriers to meaningful and continuous learning. Poverty, limited family resources, lack of essential school materials, inadequate learning support and other socio-economic challenges can affect a child’s education and future opportunities. we believe every child deserves an equal opportunity to learn, grow and realise their potential. Through need-based educational support, learning initiatives and community engagement, we work to reduce these barriers and help create pathways towards a more empowered and dignified future.
OUR EDUCATION INITIATIVES
Our education initiatives work towards empowering children from underserved and economically vulnerable communities by improving access to essential educational resources, learning opportunities and child development support. Through Mission Happy Zindagi – Education Support Initiative and other community-based interventions, we support children with school essentials, learning materials, digital literacy, life skills, educational awareness and opportunities that encourage continued learning and personal development. Our work prioritises children from low-income rural families and communities where economic hardship, limited educational resources and other vulnerabilities can create barriers to education. We aim to strengthen not only access to education, but also children’s confidence, capabilities and aspirations for the future. Our education work contributes to SDG 4 – Quality Education, promoting inclusive and equitable learning opportunities and supporting the broader vision of accessible and meaningful education for every child.
