WHY DISABILITY EMPOWERMENT
Our commitment extends to empowering those with visual, hearing, and speech impairments through life skills training and specialised education. Additionally, we provide professional skill development programs for people with disabilities.Persons with disabilities often face multiple barriers—limited access to education, healthcare, employment, and social inclusion. These challenges are not due to disability itself, but because of social stigma, lack of awareness, and inadequate support systems. Disability empowerment is essential to ensure dignity, equality, and equal opportunities for all. When persons with disabilities are supported with education, skills, healthcare, and accessible environments, they can lead independent lives and contribute meaningfully to their families, communities, and the nation. Seva Asmakam Dharmah Charitable Trust believes that an inclusive society is a stronger society. By empowering persons with disabilities, we promote human rights, social justice, and sustainable development—ensuring that no one is left behind.
WHAT WE DO
Seva Asmakam Dharmah Charitable Trust works to empower persons with disabilities by creating opportunities for education, healthcare, skill development, and dignified livelihoods. Our approach focuses on ability, inclusion, and self-reliance rather than limitations. We provide educational support, assistive devices, and access to healthcare services to improve quality of life and independence. Through skill training and livelihood programmes, we enable persons with disabilities to gain employable skills, secure income opportunities, and achieve economic self-sufficiency. In addition, we promote social inclusion by raising awareness, engaging families and communities, and advocating for equal rights and accessibility. By building supportive ecosystems, we help persons with disabilities participate fully in society with confidence and dignity.
